The service

jyotis.app provides Vedic astrology tools and educational content based on classical Jyotiṣa texts. The service is operated by YUJ S.L. (CIF B56814320), Sevilla, Spain.

What this is — and what it is not

Jyotiṣa is an ancient system of astronomical observation and interpretation. The tools on this site perform mathematical calculations based on planetary positions (via Swiss Ephemeris) and classical rules (Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra, Praśna Mārga, and others).

This is not medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice. The interpretations are educational and for personal reflection only. You are solely responsible for your decisions.

Free and paid tiers

• Free tools (Praśna, Muhūrta, Chart, Nakṣatra, Rāśi, Graha content) are available without charge.
• Paid subscription ("Personal" plan) is billed monthly ($19/mo) or annually ($190/yr) via Stripe. Prices include applicable taxes (VAT).

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through Stripe's customer portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time.

Intellectual property

Original content (articles, interpretations, design, code) is © YUJ S.L. Classical texts cited are in the public domain. You may share links freely. You may not reproduce content for commercial purposes without permission.

Accuracy

Planetary positions are calculated using Swiss Ephemeris with Lahiri ayanamsa to sub-arcsecond accuracy. However, interpretation of these positions follows classical texts which may differ between traditions. We cite our sources and indicate uncertainty where it exists.

We do not guarantee specific outcomes from any reading or analysis.

Account termination

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that abuse the service (automated scraping, spam, or misuse of the tools). We will notify you by email before any termination.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, YUJ S.L. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sevilla.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will notify subscribers by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
